Simple organ/piano accompaniment and understated arrangements and performances make this the kind of quiet, uplifting music that has become difficult to find in Christian bookstores.

The choirs and performers featured are quite talented. These are *quality* recordings. The only thing on these cds that I did not care for was the arrangement of Amazing Grace, which all but obscured the powerful, foundational message of this classic hymn.

There are also a couple of instrumental tracks which feature a harmonica--not too flashy, but a slight departure from the rest of these tracks. We often leave these cds on at a low volume throughout the day as an inspirational backdrop, and then turn them up when we are in the mood for a sing-along.
